I grew up in Surat, a city full of ambition, but a long way from the world of international university admissions. When I decided I wanted to study abroad, there was no clear map in front of me. There was no mentor nearby who had done it, and no one to tell me which steps mattered, which deadlines were real, or how to tell my story honestly to an admissions committee.
So I taught myself. I read everything I could find, asked every question I could think of, made plenty of mistakes, and corrected them one by one. Eventually I earned my place at Boston University. It was worth every difficult moment, but it was also far harder and far lonelier than it ever needed to be.
That experience is the entire reason Ivy Smart exists. I started this practice so that the next ambitious student, especially one without an obvious network or a ready-made roadmap, has the guide I never had. Someone genuinely in their corner who knows the process, tells them the truth, and treats their future as something personal rather than transactional.
Today I work directly with every Ivy Smart student. Not through a team, and not from a script, but personally. That is the whole point of this practice, and it is a promise I intend to keep.
